Well Bella and I finally made it to sunny California!!! Bella did great on the plane and only got a little scared during take off and landing. During take off, she acutally climbed into my lap and was able to sit there for 20 minutes until the flight attendant said she needed to stay in her bag :( I was very proud of her!
Yesterday, Sean, his mom (Kimberly) and I took a tour of Alcatraz. It was such a great, educational experience and we all had a great time. The ferry ride to the island was beautiful. We were able to see the city from the bay and it was breathtaking. The ride was also very cold and windy! I'll post more pictures later but you probably won't be able to see my face because my hair was blowing all over the place! Hahahaha! After the visit I told Sean that I wanted to watch a documentary on Alcatraz and get some more details about the place. I felt like the tour was somewhat of a preview of everything that took place there. Soooo cool!!!
Today, Bella and I have been trying to unpack and get everything organized for the summer. Well Bella hasn't been much help because she's been sleeping all day :) She only gets up when I leave the room and then she runs out looking for me. Sean was acutally able to give me a lot more space then I thought, considering he lives in a BEDROOM! It's a converted living room so it's bigger than you may be thinking.
Love the blog! I'm glad Bella did well on the flight. She looks so cute in her travel bag! Dave, Kim, and Greg and I took an evening trip to Alcatraz - it really is fascinating! Have fun.
